Appreciating  St. Xavier's ability to give equal importance to sports  as well as  education, Goa's Sports  Minister, Babu Azgaonkar highlighted that  sports  is  needed  to  enrich one's  personal life besides  providing physical fitness and health benefits. He was  the  Chief  Guest at  the  sports day  of  St.  Xavier's  College  and  HSS. Principal  Dr. (Fr.)  Walter  De Sa appreciated the implementation of  Sports  Policy  and  assured  full  support  to  the Government. Principal  reminded  the  students the need  to adopt  the  3 D's  for  success :  Discipline, Dedicaion and Determination.
