Prayers
The
first lecture of each day begins with a non-denominational prayer written
and read by students themselves. This prayer is not of particular religion
but only to invoke blessing of almighty. Top

Teacher-Mentor
Programme
Each
teacher is made mentor of about twenty students. Mentor is responsible
for these students. Role of the mentor is to guide and counsel these
students. Mentor also monitors the absentee report of those students
and it’s in contact with their parents.

Assessment
of Teachers by Students
The
students evaluate Teachers. There is prescribed form wherein students
express their opinion of their teachers, office and library. These forms
are thereafter given to the respective teacher who studies and tabulates
the assessments made by students. Teachers get opportunity to know the
opinions of the students about him/her and hence are able to apply corrective

Attendance
During
each lecture, attendance is taken. At the end of the month if the student
is found absent sometimes, the student is called and warned, and if
absent many times their parents are also informed through mentor. Top

Monthly
Departmental Meetings
Monthly meetings of the faculty members in the department are conducted
in order to monitor the work progress. Top

Assignments
Each
teacher gives a fortnightly assignment to the students. The topic of
the assignment is either from prescribed syllabus or some relevant useful
topic. The student has to refer journals from library, Internet etc
and prepare the report and has to submit it to the concern teacher,
though this does not form part of the final mark list. Top

Personal
Identity
Everyone
in the campus has to wear identity card with lanyard around the neck.
One can identify from the color of lanyard whether that person is Teaching
staff or non-teaching staff or student. Students are also identified
in terms of their stream or years. Top

Education
One
lecture per week on value education is offered to all students. The
lecture method is avoided but brainstorming and quizzing methods are
used. Without any pressure, these sessions attract all students. Top
